Thomas Orville Manuel, 68 of Cave City died Sunday, November 24, 2019. He was born August 9, 1951 in Osceola, Arkansas to Thomas Manuel Sr. and Gracie Lucille Grimes Manuel. He was a retired factory worker and a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Mount Pleasant.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, George Manuel Sr. and Johnny Manuel and three sisters, Sue Thrasher, Margaret Kent and Barbara Mitchell.
Survivors include two sons, Roger Manuel (Lorelyn) of Pekin, Illinois and Thomas Manuel (Tammy) of North Pekin, Illinois; one daughter, Patricia Flowers (Chris) of Tremont, Illinois; four brothers, Gerald Manuel (Debbie) of East Peoria, Illinois, Sammy Manuel (Neina) of Cave City, Phillip Manuel (Aileen) of Fort Walton, Florida and Tony Manuel (Melissa) of Tuscumbia, Alabama; two sisters, Faye Melton (Jack) of Morton, Illinois and Renee Greenhaw (Jimmy) of Jacksonville; 17 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cornerstone Baptist Church at Mount Pleasant with Bro. John Higgins and Rev. Sammy Manuel officiating. Burial will follow in the Cave City Cemetery with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Visitation will be Friday, November 29, 2019 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the church.
Pallbearers will be Rick Mills, Jonathan Caudle, Stephen Taylor, Christopher Manuel, Ted Taylor and Peyton Manuel.
Honorary pallbearers are James Flowers, Bo Manuel and Matthew Flowers.
