Thomas Conway Satterwhite, 87 of Cave City died Monday, April 6, 2020. He was born June 5, 1932 in Cave City, Arkansas to Walter Noel and Ora Mae Lewis Satterwhite. He was a retired farmer and bus mechanic for Southside Public Schools and of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Lavaughan Satterwhite, Dean Satterwhite and Carl Wayne Satterwhite and sisters, Monterie Browning and Emmalean Burge.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Frances Rider Satterwhite of the home; sons, Duwayne Satterwhite and Tommy Satterwhite both of Cave City and David Satterwhite of Mount Pleasant; daughters, Joann England (Wayne) and Mary Ann Howell (Tim) both of Cave City and Linda Kay Byrd of Lynn; brothers, Vernon Satterwhite (Susie) of Cave City and Ellis Satterwhite (Barbara) of Salado; sisters, Nola Neal (Charles) of Beebe and Joyce Stovall (Don) of Lowell; 12 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be Friday, April 10, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the Cave City Cemetery with Justin Burge officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Pallbearers will be Kyle Satterwhite, Brandon Satterwhite, Mitch Satterwhite, Patrick England, Jeremy Howell, Dakota Byrd, Craig Byrd and Donaven Pickren.
Honorary pallbearers are Ronnie Schultz and Paul Don Carter.
Covid 19 social distancing will be observed.
