Tommy Lee Osborn, 74, of Batesville, AR went to be with his Lord and Saviour on Monday, February 4, 2019. He was born on December 6, 1944 in Red Mountain, California to Cecil Gilbert Osborn and Minnie Lee (McClure) Osborn. On March 9, 1971 Tommy married the love of his life, Carma Gibbons Osborn, and they enjoyed 47 years together. Tommy loved the Lord and enjoyed talking about the Bible and the stories that it told. He worked in many areas of construction all of his life and enjoyed finding solutions to repair anything that was broken. One of his many talents was investing time in children and youth. He coached T-ball, Little League baseball. Babe Ruth baseball, and taught boys how to hunt and fish. He was a person of many interests. He loved to dance, ride his Harley, and work with his hands. He at one time was a Class C State Champion Skeet Shooter. Tommy was patriotic, he served 7 years in the Army National Guard.
He is survived by his wife Carma Osborn; one son, Cshawn (Kim); grandsons, Seth Osborn and Peyton Osborn of Batesville, AR, and Justin Dutrisac of Jonesboro, AR; granddaughters, Sara Dutrisac of Fayetteville, AR, Hannah Dutrisac of Batesville, AR; one sister, Brenda Fowler of Batesville, AR; a nephew, Tony Moser; a niece, Mickie Marotti of Batesville, AR; and other relatives and many friends.
Tommy was preceded in death by his parents and a precious grandson, Camdon Garrett Osborn.
Pallbearers will be Doug Presley, Billy Osborn, Kacy Marotti, Jerry Osborne, Darrell Liles, and Macy Marotti.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 7, 2019 from 12:00 to 1:45 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel.
Graveside services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Oaklawn Cemetery in Batesville with Bro. Tony Moser officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Independence County, Vine Street Baptist Church, or the charity of your choice.
