Vancil Dexter Nast

Vancil Dexter Nast, son of “Mick” and Alma Nast, died on Thursday, February 13, 2020. Vancil is survived by his sister Peggy and brother Robert; sons Lynn, David, Phillip, and Wayne; daughter Jennifer; and loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Vancil played high school football in Batesville and was a veteran of the United States Navy. He worked as an engineer supporting energy production. Vancil’s career took him around the world, but his heart was in Arkansas and he spent happy retirement years in Batesville. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
