William Jerry Murphree

William Jerry Murphree, 75 of Mountain View, Arkansas died Friday, July 26, 2019 at the VA Hospital in Little Rock. He was born January 29, 1944 in Miller, Arkansas to Guy and Rachel Murphree. He served in the U.S. Army with the Military Police from 1965 to 1968 during the Vietnam Era. He was a member of the Baptist Church at Brownsville, Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Perry and Jimmy and three sisters, Nelda, Bernice and Sydney.

Survivors include three brothers, Ronald Murphree (Paula) of Calico Rock, David Murphree (Cynthia) of Silex, Missouri and Wallace Murphree of Mountain View; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Thursday , August 1, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Shiloh Baptist Church at Shiloh, Arkansas with Leo Murphree officiating. Burial will follow in the Shiloh Crossroads Cemetery with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church.
