William Ellis Runyan

William Ellis Runyan, 81 of Cave City died Friday, June 8, 2018. He was born October 21, 1936 at Strawberry, Arkansas to Henry and Wretha (James) Runyan.  He was a retired farmer and a member of the Mount View Missionary Baptist Church at Cave City.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James Boyd Runyan.

Survivors include his wife, Willa Mae Runyan of the home; one daughter, Barbara Reynolds (Charlie) of Cave City; four sisters, Lou Ward of Williford, Willa Jean Turner and Phyllis Varner (Conley) both of Cave City and Nada Kirk of Batesville; two grandchildren, Tabitha Reynolds and Jessica Ford both of Cave City; four great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Caleb Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount View Cemetery at Cave City.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Dupree, Tyler Dupree, Jeff Dupree, James Ward, Bobby Turner and Paul Runyan.

Honorary pallbearers are Keith Dupree, Charlie Reynolds and Mark Dupree.
