Willie Jean “Bill” Runyan Turner, 90, of Evening Shade, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at her home. She was born March 12, 1933 in Cedar Grove, Arkansas to John Henry Runyan and Wreatha Myrtle James Runyan. She was a homemaker and a member of the Eastside Southern Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, her grandchildren and her babies, going to church, sitting out in the yard, singing and dancing.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 46 years, Sid Turner; her brothers, James Boyd Runyan, and William Ellis Runyan; two sisters, Lou Ward and Nada Kirk; and son in law, Tom Williams.
She is survived by her son, Bobby Turner (Brenda) of Evening Shade, Arkansas; her daughters, Kathy Foree (Carlos) and Peggy Jo Williams both of Evening Shade, Arkansas; her sister, Phyllis Varner of Cave City, Arkansas; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 23, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel with Steve Stephenson officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. View Cemetery in Cave City with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City, Arkansas.
Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be David Huckabee, Braiden Huckabee, Tristan Huckabee, Nick Delargy, Tyler Delargy and Dalton Howell.
Honorary pallbearers will be Carla Huckabee, Lanona Delargy, Cody Foree, Lyda Jo Turner, Haley Huckabee, Jessica Huckabee, Cheyenne Howell and Heather Delargy.
