Wreathel Marie Wilkerson

November 27, 1920 — June 20, 2018

Wreathel Marie Wilkerson, 97 of Cave City died Wednesday, June 20, 2018. She was born November 27, 1920 at Calamine, Arkansas to Joseph Elbert Lee and Maxie Lee McCracken Gay.   She was a homemaker and a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church in Cave City.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John D. Wilkerson; one son, Joe Wilkerson; four brothers, L.J. Gay, Loren Gay, Alden Gay and Lee Gay and one sister, Sibyl Girtman.

Survivors include five grandchildren, Jason Wilkerson of Cave City, Crystal McIntosh of Harrisburg, Brittany Hill of Cave City, Jonathan Daniel Wilkerson of Kansas City, Kansas and Joseph Daniel Wilkerson of Mountain Home; seven great grandchildren; one sister, Elline Davis of Cave City; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Missionary Baptist Church in Cave City. Burial will follow in the Cave City Cemetery with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.

Visitation will be Friday, June 22, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Bailey, Brannon Huff, Richard Groves, Mark Church and Billy Beach.
