Dale Bennett

Dale Bennett age 53 of Pleasant Plains died Friday, April 29, 2016 at his home. He was born December 17, 1962 at Huntington Park, California to Robert and Billie Jean Gay Bennett. He worked for Bowman Handles in Southside for 26 years and was a member of the Independence Missionary Baptist Church in Pleasant Plains. He loved the Lord and enjoyed sharing his testimony with family and friends. He loved his family. He loved hunting and fishing. He will always be remembered for his humor and kindness. Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Tami Bennett of the home; son, Kyle Bennett and wife Sara of Batesville; daughter, Kelsey Thompson and husband Dale of Batesville; his parents Robert and Billie Bennett of Pleasant Plains; brother, Danny Bennett and wife Candi of Batesville; grandchildren, Layla Barnes, Brayden Thompson and Jayden Thompson; nephew, Ryan Bennett of Texas; and a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at the Independence Missionary Baptist Church in Pleasant Plains with Bro. Brad Roberts officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Honorary pallbearers are Ray Bowman, Jim Grant, Larry Martin, Tim Ramsey and Danny Bennett.
