Anita Qualls, 77, of Batesville passed away May 27, 2022 at Batesville. She was born June 10, 1944 at Spring Mill to Edward and Anna Scarbrough.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses. Anita enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, drawing, painting, traveling and riding horses.
She is preceded in death by her parents; one brother, James Nathan “Jimbo” Scarbrough and one sister, Marie Scarbrough Hall.
Survivors include her husband, Boyd Qualls of the home; four sons, Danny Qualls, Robert Qualls (Alesia), Joseph Qualls (Lisa) all of Batesville and John Qualls (Tamara) of CO; two brothers, David Scarbrough (Kathy) of Cushman and Tony Scarbrough of Spring Mill; three sisters, Verna Comfort (Marty) of Spring Mill, Inez Berry (Bill) of Collinwood, TN and Donna Scarbrough of Spring Mill; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one great great grandchild on the way; several nieces, nephews, a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Monday, May 30, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Batesville. Burial will follow in the Lee’s Chapel Cemetery at Sandtown with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, May 29, 2022 at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel.
Pallbearers will be Will Qualls, Timmy Qualls, Jonathon Qualls, Jesse Qualls, Tyler Woodall and Jonathon Williams.
Honorary Pallbearers are Josiah Qualls, Logen Qualls, Gage Qualls, Jace Qualls, Absol Qualls, Chris Williams, Dakota Williams, Mikel Gipson and Devin Gipson.
